This poor dog had the misfortune to be owned by the Gypsies here on Zante..
She was tied up on a short chain with no food or water !!!!!
One of our brave Volunteers confronted the Gypsies about her situation and threatened to bring the police if the conditions for her didnot improve..
Luckily on this occasion the Gypsies gave over the dog without too much fuss..
Maira is now safe with us and looking for a forever home after her terrible life..
She is now a healthy weight and she is lovely friendly girl with a lot of love to give. She gets on well with other dogs but she doesnot like cats..
Naira was born June 2019 and is around 15 kilos in weight..
