Poor Baloo and Betty have faced heartbreaking hardship. After their owner passed away, they were brought to the shelter by a family member in a terrible condition. 😢
Their fur was severely matted, and little Betty is blind. We don’t know how long they had been left like this, but it’s deeply distressing to see an older blind dog in such a state.
They were immediately taken to the vets for examination and treatment. As we suspected, both are senior dogs born in 2014. Their matted fur was carefully shaved to ease their suffering, revealing underlying skin problems which are now being treated.
One of our volunteers, with a heart of gold, took pity on them and welcomed them into their home as foster carers.
Due to their age and health issues, we have decided to place Baloo and Betty on our Sponsorship Program.
