Lucas was found beside a very busy road here on Zante.. He was wandering around for a while until a kind local lady started to ask around the area if he was owned.. The answer came back as no he was a stray..
He had been abandoned 😢probably due to he age as he is over 10 years old
Very sad as it is clear that he has been someone’s dog for many years as he loves human contact. Now because of his age he was just left beside a busy road confused, frightened and hungry.. Another case of cruelty and lack of care and compassion from irresponsible individuals here on Zante (sadly there are many !!!!! )
The kind local lady took him to the vet to check his health and then took him home to safety where she will look after him until we can try and find him another family.. Luckily there are a few kind and compassionate folk here on Zante..
Due to Lucas age we have put him for Sponsoring but he is also for adoption if anyone is interested in adopting an older dog..
If anyone would like to make a monthly donation towards his food and his medical treatments we would be very grateful.. Or any donations are welcome towards the care of this lovely gentle boy..
