Meet Bilbo (male)
He is one of the 5 dogs we recently rescued from the North of Zante close to the shipwreck..
He was being fed by tourists until space could be found for them all at the shelter..
He has settled into the shelter very well..
He is an easy going well behaved dog and he likes human company.
He gets along well with other dogs and he can be cat tested on request..
Bilbo was born March 2019 and he is around 17 kilos in weight.
Bilbo has tested positive for Leishmania
Leish is a disease dogs contract through being bitten by a sandfly which only exists in Mediterranean countries. Leish is controlled by daily medication, with early detection and being aware of symptoms being key to ensure it can be kept under control . A dog with leish can live totally normal and happy live with the right treatment and knowledge.
