💔 He was found in the mountains as a stray. Probably he was a hunting dog that got dumped. He was found very underweight and needed help!

🐾 Floyd is a gorgeous boy, with the typical character of a setter, he is very soft and gentle. He loves affection and to run and play. He also gets on well with other dogs. He travels well in the car, walks on the lead and would make a very beautiful and loyal dog for someone!

💊 He has tested positive for Leishmania.
Leish is a disease dogs contract through being bitten by a sandfly which only exists in Mediterranean countries. Leish is controlled by daily medication, with early detection and being aware of symptoms being key to ensure it can be kept under control, as well to treat any possible relapses later on in life. A dog with leish can live totally normal and happy lives with the right treatment and knowledge.
