Meet Gaby
Gaby and Gertie were living rough in a collapsed house after they were abandoned by someone.
They were being feed by local lady but sadly they started to kill locals chickens..This is a crime here on Zante which is punishable by death !!! The lady contacted us to help the dogs as they were in danger. It took a while for volunteers to catch them as they were very frightened.
The volunteers persevered and with patience they were caught and brought to safely
Gaby is now at the shelter and she is friendly with other dogs, but she is still quite shy so will need time to get used to new surroundings and people. The volunteers are working with her to get her used to the lead but she gets quite panicked at the moment. She needs a quiet home who is willing to work with her.
She was born July 2020 and is around 15 kilos in weight..She can be cat tested, but is not good with ? If you think you can provide the home she needs, please send us an e mail on info.zantestrays@gmail.com for more information  ?
