Meet Hazel. This beautiful girl was recently found tied up to the gate outside the shelter one day, in a carrier bag with 2 puppies. She was left with another female dog and 2 more puppies. After a trip to the vet we found out that Hazel wasn’t a mum to either of the puppies, just a helping hand to her friend. Hazel was severely skinny so we believe she had been starved. She is now safe at the shelter and has settled in well. She’s a lovely, affectionate girl who loves the volunteers and the other dogs. She was born in March 2021 and she currently weighs 12kg but will put a bit of weight on as she gets regular meals. If you would like to offer Hazel a forever home, please contact us for more info ?
