Meet Kev. Kev was born June 2019 and was rescued from the streets of Zakynthos looking very malnourished and neglected. Kev has been at Dog Trouble for rehabilitation for the past 6 months and is now ready for a home with experienced dog owners.
Kev has a big heart, loves humans, loves water and playing football. He is an independent dog, with a high scent drive and although can interact with some dogs, will need to be an only dog in the household.
Kev will need an active home with someone that can provide him with activities where he has to use his nose and brain. He loves dog agility!
You would need the time to take him out and about to new places and would need to be committed to working with us to learn how to continue his rehabilitation.
Kev has tested positive for leish, which means he will need to be monitored for any new symptoms and will need blood tests approximately every 6 months to ensure his leish is being kept under control, alongside daily medication. Leish dogs can live perfectly happy and normal lives and are no risk to other animals or humans.
We support all adopters of leish dogs and will give full guidance and support throughout their life as well as at the time of adoption.
If you think you could offer Kev the home he so needs, please contact us at info.zantestrays@gmail.com or directly at Dog Trouble info@dogtrouble.co.uk 💙
