Meet Kristy.
This beautiful girl was found by some bins as a stray and thankfully one of our fosters took her in. She has recently come to the shelter and has settled in very well with the other dogs. She is a tall mixed breed, walks on the lead, and is a very affectionate and smart dog! We would love to find her a forever home. We can cat test her upon request. Kristy was born approximately 01.10.2021 and weighs around 17 kilos. Please share 🐾

Kristy has tested positive for Leishmania. However her levels are very low which is great! Leish is controlled by daily medication, with early detection and being aware of symptoms being key to ensure it can be kept under control, as well to treat any possible relapses later on in life. A dog with leish can live totally normal and happy lives with the right treatment and knowledge.
