Lisa for Adoption – another old dog into our care!! Lisa spend her whole life of 9-10 years on a chain guarding a vegetable garden. Every 7-8 months she got a litter. A Dutch neighbour took care of her and her 2 pups when the owner was admitted to the hospital. After talking to the owner she took the pups to her home and the chain off Lisa so she could roam around. Lisa stayed close by and was fed daily by the neighbour. The neighbour was looking for help to re-home the pups. We couldn’t leave the mom on the streets as she would get pregnant again. So we took her and now she keeps our blind dog Stevie company. She needed some time to adjust to all the changes, but after a week she feels so much better. Her pups soon will go to Holland. How wonderful it would be if someone would offer a home for the mom. Born March 2010.
