Meet Luna (was Bertha), already in the UK.
Luna was born in September 2017 in Zante and she was left in a cardboard box outside a volunteers house when she was a tiny baby. Luna was adopted as a puppy in 2018 and came to the UK, but sadly her home is now not working out for her due to a new baby in the home.
Luna is a sweet girl who loves living with dogs as long as they are bigger than her! She seems to not get along with dogs smaller than her. She gets on well with children who are older (12+) and who are respectful around her, but she cannot live with young children or babies.
She has great recall and walks well, although if she sees a deer she does have a tendency to disappear!
As like many of our Zante Strays, she loves the heat and you’ll find her laying in the sun or in front of the fire.
We believe Luna does need to live with another (large) dog because she is quite nervous without another dog in the home and they give her more confidence.
Luna is approximately 15kg and we believe she has Labrador/staffie/Cretan hound in her.
If you feel you have the experience to give Luna a home and would like to see if you are the right match for her, please contact us at info.zantestrays@gmail.com 💜
